Mia Milligan is a senior undergraduate student at VCU, currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in psychology. After graduation, Mia plans to attend a Masters of Social Work program and become a licensed clinical social worker. Mia’s overall career goal is to serve her community of black women, and provide them with radicalized clinical therapy. She hopes to create a safe space that promotes acceptance, inner-healing, and celebrates the triumphs of black womanhood. Within the AYA Research Team, Mia works with the ROOTED: Endeavor Team to conduct thematic analysis. In her pasttime, Mia enjoys reading and listening to music!
