Alexis earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Spanish Language & Culture from Princeton University in 2020. Following graduation, she gained experience working in child mental health research, intervention development, and implementation at a large non-profit organization and a private psychotherapy practice. Alexis' current research and clinical interests lie at the intersection of racial socialization, religion and spirituality, and community-centered interventions among Black families.
